I believe the term for the methodology these emails fall under is &#039;social engineering&#039;, as opposed to the virus writer (or &#039;script-kiddie&#039; as in many of the above) attempting to fool the machine itself.

You&#039;ll find in these test that the heavily marketed &#039;names&#039; don&#039;t do that well.  It is interesting that this seems to also be the case in the Operating System field as well...  :-)</description>
