Google Domain Aging versus the Sandbox

My buddy Scottie Clayborne has written an excellent article addressing what many of us have seen for some time — a time delay for new domains to get ranked in Google (as opposed to just appearing in Google, and as opposed to the somewhat theoretical Google "sandbox" for giving new sites credit for the links pointing to them). Well, it's all theoretical until a search engine validates it, isn't it?
