Yahoo is Web Standards Compliant

Okay, that does it for me. While I've been dragging my feet with respect to converting some sites to full Web Standards compliancy — there's that browser problem, you know — I've just noticed that Yahoo has made the plunge. Not only that, but some of the links on the Yahoo News page (news.yahoo.com) have a little popup-that-is-not-a-popup-window containing an image and a blurb. (At least, that's how it works in my fancy new Opera 8 browser.) Tasty work, Yahoo.

If popular sites like Yahoo can take the risk, I guess it's time. Highest common denominator, anyone?
