MySpace Bands and Internet Marketing

For those who are seeking alternative marketing methods, this Wired article entitled The Hit Factory gives a new look at how existing technologies — and sites — can be used for marketing purposes. These guys/gals are doing it, and what's remarkable about it is that they're not what could normally be termed "Internet marketers" … just musicians looking to get their music out there and to gain an audience, using the technology at hand.
